Introduction

Residential school, Bhuratali, Sabroom had been established on 27th July, 2007 by Sri Aghore Debbarma, the-then Hon’ble CEM, TTAADC, in presence of Sri Jitendra Chaudhury, the-then Hon’ble Minister of Tribal Welfare, Government of Tripura with the aim of development of backward tribal communities, especially in respect of education. Point no. - 6 of the 25 points package, declared by Government of Tripura on 26th January, 1999 was related to the establishment of 06 (six Residential Schools, exclusively for Tribal students, out of which this school has also been constructed with an aim to be re-appropriated as Eklavya Model Residential School.

Residential School, Bhuratali has been constructed with a student capacity of 420 students from Class VI to Class- XII, presently run from Class- VI to Class- X, with 302(298 hostellers and 4 staff wards) students comprising almost equal strength of 151 boys and 151 girls, likely to be upgraded.

In the session 2018-19, this school has been affiliated to CBSE (affiliation no. 2020008)

The school has produced two batches of AISSE candidates, with 100% success both the academic year AISSE-2020 & AISSE – 2021.

This school provides quality education with utmost care and guidance, not only for the academic but also behavioral development of the economically and socially backward ST students. Our students have been showing their excellence in the field of culture, sports and other co-curricular fields.

Our students are also engaged in different other activities occasionally – like Yoga, plantation of trees, Swachha Bharat Abhijan, No Plastic usage – movement etc.
